Eastney Community Centre is managed by Eastney Area Community Association, a registered charity, number 292346, who are all volunteers from the local community. They always welcome new members to help support and steer the direction of the Centre for the benefit of the local community. The Committee meet once a month on a Wednesday evening to discuss and make decisions.
Full membership is open to individuals of 18 years or over living in the area of benefit who may vote at Annual General Meetings and stand for election onto the committee. Individuals over 18 living outside the area of benefit shall be called Associate members and shall not have the right to vote at General Meetings of the Association.
Membership is renewable annually. The Membership year runs from April 1st to March 31st the following year and is renewable on the 1st April, although you may join at any time.
Due to government enforced closure in 2020 memberships could not be renewed until October. Current membership 1st October 2020- 31st March 2022 is £5.

By becoming a member of EACA you can also access our members groups (groups run by members for members).
You may also want to take a more active role by joining the Committee and help to make important decisions for your Centre and Community of Eastney. Free training is provided for Members interested to learn more about the roles and responsibilities of Committee members.
You must register for membership in person at Eastney Community Centre Office. The Office is open 10am – 3pm Monday – Friday.
