Eastney Community Centre is Open for Group Activities

There has been a lot of confusion over the latest government announcement dated 9th September and the new guidelines on ‘The Rule of 6’.

‘The Rule of 6’ applies to individuals getting together NOT to organised activities in Covid-19 Secure Venues.

We’d like to assure you that Eastney Community Centre is a Covid-19 Secure Venue and is OPEN. ALL GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES ARE RUNNING AS PLANNED!

Unfortunately we are unable to take private party bookings at this time but we will consider private booking requests for meetings, on an individual basis, were appropriate Covid-19 documentation can be provided. Hire is by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling the Centre Office on 02392 864306. Hire Price List is on our Hall/Room Hire page.

We will post updates on facebook and our website.

Be safe.

Eastney Community Centre is situated in Bransbury Park in the historic city of Portsmouth.

There is a varied programme of health and fitness, social, educational and recreational activities  for the people of Eastney, Milton and Southsea. Many people travel from further afield to participate in activities and visit the Centre Cafe.

We are always looking to offer new opportunities and activities for the community and welcome any new partnerships, groups or activity suggestions.

A well as regular groups there are various events being held in and around the centre. For further information see the News page.

The facilities at the centre are excellent. The centre has a large sports hall, a small hall and a mirrored dance studio, a one-to-one room and a communal kitchen. There is also a full size skittle alley that can be hired. The large and small halls can also be hired out for private functions such as weddings, family parties, meetings, performances…the list is endless.

Eastney Community Centre is managed by Eastney Area Community Association (EACA) a registered charity 292346 made up of volunteers from the local community. Eastney Community Centre is supported by Portsmouth City Council but does not receive grant aid funding from any source and self-generates all income to maintain the centre and its running costs.

EACA is committed to an equal opportunities policy and welcomes you all to come and see for yourself all that Eastney Community Centre has to offer. Come and have a cup of tea or join in with an activity… We look forward to seeing you soon!
